Moka pot
A stovetop pot that makes strong, espresso-style coffee using steam pressure.
Water in the base boils and steam pressure pushes it up through a basket of coffee into the top chamber. The result is rich and concentrated, though not true espresso pressure.
Aluminium versions do not work on induction hobs; stainless steel ones do.
Why it matters for small spaces
A moka pot is one of the most compact, affordable ways to make strong coffee in a small kitchen with no electricity.
